I discovered upcycled T-Shirts on a trip to Atlanta. I loved the look and decided to add those to my line. I find t-shirts at the thrift store and remove the original sleeves and then add Kantha Quilt Sleeves. Kantha Quilts are from India and are recycled rags which are quilted together in a simple running stich. I love the diversity of the quilts and how they enhance a thrifted t-shirt. I upcycle the T-shirts I find, but sometimes a person falls in love with one but it’s not their size. In those cases, I offer to sew Kantha sleeves on one of their own t-shirts. I have done this for multiple clients.
